Members of the Clement family celebrate with the winning team during the second annual Mike Clement golf tournament held at Eagle Pointe Golf Course on Saturday. They ranked first place with a total score of 59. From left, David Celement, Mike’s brother; Niwassa Clement, Mike’s mother; Lori Marti, Nick Perras, Michael Perras and Richard Godwin, winning team; and Margot Casey, treasurer for the “Friends of Mike Clement” organization, which hosted the event.
The organization honors Mike’s memory by awarding scholarships to deserving students in Goose Creek CISD. This year’s event welcomed 40 players and raised over $4,500, which will be gifted in the form of scholarships next year.
